30-Minute History of Native Americans in the St. Peter AreaApril 24, 2009 at 5–6 p.m.

Ben Leonard, Executive Director of the Nicollet County Historical Society will be coming to give a 30-minute talk about the history of Native Americans in the region in preparation for the Pow Wow. Refreshments will be provided.

The 2nd Annual Traditional Pow Wow at Gustavus is a celebration of American Indian Culture featuring Native American dancing, drumming, singing, and various vendors. Dr. Dave Larsen will emcee this exciting event with Oyate Teca on Host Drums and Valerie Larson as the Head Woman Dancer.
