In this session, Professor Michele Rusinko will share current research, and practical tips, for increasing our individual capacities for resiliency. Resiliency can be defined as the ability to adapt well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy or cumulative sources of stress. You won't want to miss this meaningful session!

Rusinko has been part of the Gustavus community since 1988. She teaches in the department of Theatre and Dance and holds a certificate in Positive Psychology from the Wholebeing Institute. She is currently developing an undergraduate curriculum in the science of resiliency as grounded in the field of Positive Psychology (the scientific study of human flourishing).
