Description
All interested parties are invited to a discussion of the 2011 Nobel Conference. The topic will be affective neuroscience, or how brain form and function allows us to understand culture and society. How does the evolution and structure of the brain impact our understanding of those things that make us human: religion, decision making, rationality, music, morality, emotion, cyborgs, etc. If you cannot join us, but are interested in the topic or have suggestions, please contact Chuck Niederriter (chuck@gustavus.edu), Garrett Paul (gpaul@gustavus.edu), Scott Bur (sbur@gustavus.edu), Mark Kruger (mgk@gustavus.edu), or Mike Ferragamo (mferrag@gustavus.edu).
