Debra Swanberg

Dean of Students Office

With the Dean of Students office since October, 2008, Deb Swanberg supports the Dean of Students/Vice President for Student Affairs, and the Associate and Assistant Deans of Students in assisting students to realize their education and personal goals at Gustavus

Prior to the Dean of Students office, Deb worked as the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Safety and Security from January, 2003 to September, 2008. Prior to coming to Gustavus Deb worked as a Graphic Designer/Editor at Closing The Gap.

Deb graduated from Moorhead State University (now Minnesota State Moorhead) with degrees in Business Administration and Marketing.

In her free time Deb enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her husband, son, daughters, and granddaughter.
