Assistant Director Alumni and Parent Engagement in Alumni Relations

Zach Dilger spent his childhood growing up in South St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduating from South St. Paul High School he was accepted to Gustavus Adolphus College. During his Gustavus career Zach was a devoted student, elected captain of the football team and public relations chair of the Tau Psi Omega (REDs) fraternity. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and spent the next two years teaching first grade in New Prague, Minnesota. Teaching first grade students, coaching 4-5th grade football and the New Prague High School Strength Program. From there, he spent time in Michigan working for the University of Michigan, before trekking back to Minnesota to fundraise for elementary schools. Within this role he served numerous schools throughout Minnesota for over two years. Currently, he serves Gustavus as the Assistant Director of Parent and Alumni Engagement within the Advancement Team. Zach is thrilled about being granted the chance to give back to the place that instilled so many: memories, skills, attributes, friends, teammates, and experiences within him.
