Pat Carroll is in his eighth season as an assistant coach for the Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team in 2022-23. The brother of head coach Mike Carroll and fellow assistant coach Steve, Pat brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience with him to the Gustie bench.
A 1985 graduate of Minnesota State University-Mankato, Carroll holds the MSU school record for single-season points (88) and consecutive games with at least one point (25), and ranks second all-time in career goals and points (123 G, 224 P). The Edina native earned All-American honors in both the 1983 and 1984 seasons and was named the team MVP in 1985. Carroll was later inducted into the Maverick Hall of Fame in 2001 and was also inducted into the Edina High School Hall of Fame in 2008.
Pat and his wife, Lynn, live in Eagan and have two grown children, Mollie and John.
