Jane SchuckFaculty

Jane Schuck was appointed as a Visiting Instructor at Gustavus in 2003. She has taught Inclusive Classrooms - EDU 389, Social Foundations - EDU 230, Secondary Practicum - EDU 368, Educational Psychology - EDU 330, Reading in the Content Areas, EDU 350 as well as Supervision of Student Teachers and the Seminar for Student Teaching, - EDU 399. Prior to her appointment, she served 27 years in educational administration at all levels in the K-12 Public Education system and taught in special education and regular education in the K-8 system. She has served on numerous committees for the state department and regional committees. Jane also does independent consulting work for schools in the areas of leadership, school improvement and research-based teaching and learning strategies. Her husband, Mark, is retired from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has two married children, Angela who is a dentist in North Mankato and Kelly who is a high school physics and chemistry teacher.
