Brett Aamot ’82Alumni and Staff

Brett Aamot is on the Gustavus football staff for the sixth season in 2022. He previously served as an assistant varsity offensive coach for the Willmar Cardinals high school football team from 2009 through 2016, coaching both running backs, and wide receivers. Aamot is a 1978 graduate of Willmar High School, and a 1982 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College where he played football as a running back and kick returner for head coach Dennis Raarup.

Aamot is the managing partner of Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing, PLLP, a regional public accounting firm headquartered in Willmar, Minn., and lives in Spicer, Minn. with his wife Kathy and their two daughters, Bria and Mariel.
