The Office of Institutional Research & Analytics (OIRA) has the primary institutional responsibility for the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative information on the institution, its students, its faculty, its programs, its practices, and its services. The Office provides strategic leadership in the area of data analytics and predictive analysis in order to build a culture of actionable, data-informed conversations and decisions that support the success of all Gustavus faculty, staff and students. OIRA responsibilities focus on two primary areas.

Institutional Research
  • Certify college data and reports
  • Generate external reporting and surveys
  • Produce official college statistics and metrics
Analytics
  • Produce trusted reports, dashboards, and analytics
  • Lead training and data literacy efforts
  • Connect users with data resources
