JOB SUMMARY: This position will provide office management and chapel break support to the Office of the Chaplains. 

Employment Type: Part-time (.10 FTE), Non-exempt (Hourly), Non-benefits eligible

Schedule = 5 hours/week for 40 weeks/year; September - May

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Office and Event Management

  • Maintain and order supplies needed for Christ Chapel
  • Assist with room and food reservations on campus, while confirming reservations for staff planning
  • Prepare Request For Payment (RFP) and Interdepartmental Transfer forms

Chapel Break Logistics & Support

  • Oversee student workers assigned to tasks for chapel break set up
  • Provide essential quality control, such as: pew walk through to remove left behind items, supervise hospitality set-up, light altar candles, bulletins and handouts set out for guests, and chapel clean up
  • Assist with bulletin design and creative projects, as able. 

Prerequisites

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous administrative assistant experience, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Understanding of Google products
