For any given week, Monday through Sunday, groups wishing to reserve space in the Lund center, must do so by the preceding Friday. No one can reserve any space after the Friday deadline. Once the schedule for the week is posted on Monday, remaining space is available on a first come first served basis for free recreation to Gustavus community and appropriate Lund Center members.
During the time that classes are in session, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. first priority for the use of any space goes to the HES department. Anyone wishing to use spaces in Lund between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on a weekday needs to get approval from the HES Department. No reservations will be made for outside groups during that time and space not used by HES will be open for free recreation.
After 3:30 p.m. priority for use of spaces will be as follows:
Recognized Campus Organizations or departments not affiliated with HES or Athletics requests for reserving space in Lund will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine the impact on free recreation and the facility. Campus organizations planning events for persons outside the campus community will be held to the restrictions that apply to Non Gustavus Organizations.
Non Gustavus Organizations, will only be allowed to reserve/rent space in the time frame from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, when classes are in session, to assure minimal displacement of our own student body. This excludes Minnesota State High School League Championship games contracted by the Athletic Department.
Groups who desire access to facilities for open recreation need to contact the Red Desk.
Groups who desire access to the swimming pool need to contact Tom Torkelson.
Groups who desire access to the Gymnastics room must contact Kris Glidden.
If you have questions regarding scheduling of Lund Center spaces contact the scheduling coordinator, Larry Zelenz, 7699.
