The goal of the on-campus recruiting program is to assist students in making contacts with potential employers for future career and internship positions.
Employer Presentations-Employers present information about their organizations and/or provide career and job search advice. Many visiting employers are alum of the college.
Resume Drops-Candidates submit resumes on eRecruiting for review by employers.
Campus Interviews-Candidates submit resumes & sign up via eRecruiting for on-campus interviews for full-time career and internship positions.
Mock Interview Program-Typically the first Thursday night in October; alumni and friends of the college visit campus to conduct mock interviews with student candidates for jobs, internships, or graduate school. Sign up on G-Net. Resumes must be submitted by the 4th Sunday in September.
Practice Interview Program- Students can schedule a practice interview by stopping in the Career Center. Candidates are videotaped and critiqued by trained student volunteers. Practice interviews are open to all students.
Career Mentors-Over 300 Gustavus alumni & friends are eager to assist students with career plans. Find mentors on G-Net. Details in available in the career center.
Information Tables - Organizations have tables in the Campus Center during peak student traffic periods.
Career Center Library-The career center has many resoruces available on career, internships, and job searching. Many are available for check out. Ask for assistance in the career center.
