Description

Join us in Linnaeus Arboretum at this 45th anniversary event as we take a look back to honor the past, and look boldly toward the future as the Arboretum approaches its Golden Anniversary.

A tree planting ceremony at 11:00 a.m. starts off the celebration. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Jim Gilbert '62, former Linnaeus Arboretum director (and retired Insructor of Environmental Studies and Interpreting Landscape classes) will share his thoughts on Arbor Day and the importance of the Linnaeus Arboretum.

To help us celebrate the event, please take a moment to write a few sentences on what it is that you love about the arboretum. It can be your favorite feature, your favorite memory or a special way you use and enjoy the arboretum. Signing your name is optional.

Tickets can be purchased at the Information Desk or at gustavustickets.com. Tickets are $10.00 for Friends of Linnaeus Arboretum members and $15.00 for non-members.
