Description

Inter-Hall Waste Sorting Challenge 2024: Pizza party for winning hall!

Sustainability Interns from the Johnson Center for Environmental Innovation will be holding an Inter-Hall Waste Sorting Challenge from now until April 11! Residential hall waste stations will be monitored over the next two weeks and judged by sorting accuracy. Sort your compost, recycling, and trash properly and help your hall win! Last year’s winner was College View. Who will it be this year? This year’s winning hall will get a pizza party, hosted by the Residential Housing Association!

Sorting waste accurately helps us work towards our goal to become a zero waste campus and to reduce our campus’ greenhouse gas emissions. The goal of the challenge is to spread awareness during Earth Month and inspire ourselves to take action to improve the impacts of our waste.
