The new, 200-bed residence hall located across Campus Drive from the arboretum on the west side of the campus has been finished. Known today as Southwest Residence Hall, the L-shaped facility is configured with apartments for four on the upper three floors of its south wing and suites for four and six on the three floors of the west wing.

Did you know?

Noted Australian-born composer Percy Grainger toured with the Gustavus Band in 1941 and with the choir in 1942. He returned to the campus several times in the late 1940s to conduct and perform with the band.

Trio of Men's Golf Athletes Earn Post-Season Awards

The Golf Coaches Association of America has released its post-season awards following the NCAA Men's Golf Championships and have recognized Gustavus athletes Kyle Rohlfs (Fergus Falls, Minn.), Eric Harris (Eden Prairie, Minn.), and Jordan Hawkinson (Lindstrom, Minn.). Kyle Rohlfs was named to the PING All-America Third Team, while Eric Harris and Jordan Hawkinson were named to the PING Central All-Region Team.
