Campus Progress: Southwest Hall

 
 

The new, 200-bed residence hall located across Campus Drive from the arboretum on the west side of the campus has been finished. Known today as Southwest Residence Hall, the L-shaped facility is configured with apartments for four on the upper three floors of its south wing and suites for four and six on the three floors of the west wing.

Did you know?

The dedication of the Nobel Hall of Science was attended by 26 Nobel laureates, as well as the chairman of the Nobel Foundation board of Stockholm, Sweden, and its executive director. At the time, it was the third-largest gathering of Nobel laureates in history.
