Megan Ruble

I grew up in Red Wing, Minnesota. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication from The University of Tampa, a small private college in Florida and my Master's degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I have worked at Gustavus for over twenty years, first as Assistant Director and then Director of Campus Activities. In the fall of 2013 I accepted a promotion to Assistant Dean of Students, coordinating the campus conduct system among many other duties.  That position was later retitled Assistant Vice President for Student Life.

My family consists of husband Jeff (who works at Gustavus as Assistant Dean of Financial Aid) and three daughters--Breeley, Piper, and Lyric.  We also have a 90 pound black lab mix named Locke.  In the teeny amount of spare time I have for myself I am a "mother runner," mostly half marathons, and I love sports and theater.  I am an active member of Living Truth Fellowship, a local church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
