Amy Pehrson ’91Alumni and Staff
Amy Pehrson is the Director of the Community Engagement Center. Prior to that, she was the Director of Mentoring and Peer Education. Amy has also worked in the Center for Servant Leadership, the Office of Church Relations and the Finance Office here at Gustavus. She graduated from Gustavus in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and in 2015 with a Master's degree in Servant Leadership from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI.
Currently her main responsibilities include directing the nine volunteer community service programs including Habitat for Humanity, Big Partner/Little Partner, Language Buddies, Elders, Pound Pals, Hoffman Learning Center, Wednesday Friends, Gustie Buddies and Study Buddies. Amy is also a member of the Sexual Assault Response Team (S.A.R.T.) at Gustavus.
Amy lives on the Pehrson family farm west of St. Peter with her husband, Pat, their three children, Luke, Jacob, Grace, and their dogs Roy (English Setter) and Pepper (lab/collie mix).
