Director of Mentoring, Vocation and Leadership in Peer Education

Amy Pehrson is the Director of Mentoring, Vocation and Leadership in the Center for Servant Leadership.  Prior to that, she had been the Assistant Director for the Center for Vocational Reflection from November 2002 until December 2010.  Amy has also worked in the Office of Church Relations and the Finance Office here at Gustavus.  She graduated from Gustavus in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.  Currently she is working on completing her master's degree in Servant Leadership from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI.  Obviously her vocational journey has had many twists and turns.

Currently her responsibilities include leading the alumni mentoring program across campus, co-directing the Servant Leadership Program (SLP), co-directing and teaching in the Gusties in On-going Leadership Development Program (GOLD), and most recently working with the Gustavus Women in Leadership program.

Amy lives on the Pehrson family farm west of St. Peter with her husband, Pat, their three children, Luke, Jacob, Grace, and their dogs Roy (English Setter) and Pepper (lab/collie mix), and Quarter Horse Sierra.
