Schaefer Fine Arts Center
Completed in 1971, it houses the fine arts (art and art history, communication studies, music, and theatre and dance departments). The Schaefer Fine Arts Center comprises two buildings: The art building houses that department, class and individual studios, and Schaefer Gallery. The music and theatre building houses the music wing, which includes music department offices, practice rooms with Steinway and Boston pianos, ensemble practice rooms, Lund Music Library, and Jussi Björling Recital Hall, Jussi Björling Recital Hall also comprises the communication studies/theatre wing, which includes offices and classrooms for those two departments, the Kresge Dance Studio, Black Box, scene and costume shops, and Anderson Theatre.
