Hours

Camp begins at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday and ends at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Cost

Overnight/Day Camper Fees

  • Overnight camper fee is $150. This covers all meals and lodging, Gustavus Track & Field spike bag, materials and instruction.
  • Day camper fee is $95 and includes any/all sessions and activities, lunch on Friday, Gustavus Track & Field spike bag, materials and instruction.

Payment is due with registration. Space is limited to ensure high quality instruction.

Pre-Camp Letter

Each camper will receive a letter with confirmation and details the week before camp begins. It will include a campus map and full camp schedule.

What to bring

Campers should bring their athletic apparel, swimsuit, towel, training shoes, running/jumping spikes (if possible), and a water bottle. Campers are also responsible for their own personal items, toiletries, etc. Linens and pillows will be provided.

Special Features

  • A folder of materials including informative handouts and articles
  • Individual video analysis and review
  • Video review and technique analysis of some the best jumpers in the world
  • Each camper will receive a personalized analysis of their technique pointing out areas of improvement and how to correct them
  • Open to anyone from 8th-12th grade. Coaches are more than welcome to attend free of charge (but must pay for their lunch).
  • Campers will receive a Gustavus Track & Field Camp spike bag
  • Continental breakfasts in the morning (fruit, bagels, spreads, milk, juice)
  • “All you can eat" meals in the Nationally-ranked dining hall

The Jumps Camp will be conducted by Lindsey Weis, Gustavus High Jump Coach, and Bill Stuewe, Gustavus Long & Triple Jump Coach, with the help of current Gustavus athletes.
