Geology Grant
Exhibit
During the summer of 2011, three geology majors (Tara Selly ’13, Jake Bruihler ’13 and Tod Kremmin ’12) worked to create the following materials:
- Parallel exhibits in the Chester Johnson Geology Museum in Nobel Hall and the Nicollet County Historical Society in St. Peter. These displays help visitors to understand the enormous geologic changes in Minnesota over the past 500 million years.
- Outreach kits for use in local schools. These “ready-to-go” travel sets allow Gustavus students and faculty to reach out to the K-12 schools in the area. There are two kits, a sandbox experiment and a fossilization kit.
