Schaefer Fine Arts Center - Kresge Dance Studio
The Department of Theatre and Dance at Gustavus Adolphus College is offering a day-long workshop of dance master classes for high school students (grades 9-12) taught by Gustavus Dance faculty. Students with experience and no experience are welcome to participate, and they will be placed in sessions accordingly.
Cost is $10, but registration is required. Space is limited, so please register early.

Instructors
Faculty instructors will include Sue Gunness, Sarah Hauss, Jill Patterson, Jeffrey Peterson, and Melissa Rolnick. You may click their names to view more information about them.
Location
Gustavus Adolphus College is located at 800 West College Avenue in St. Peter, Minnesota. The workshop will be held in Kresge Dance Studio, which is in the Schaefer Fine Arts Center.
Here is a link to the location on Google Maps. You can also find a campus map here, and the building is located at the intersection of E-4, where it says Theatre and Dance Wing. Free parking is available beside the building in Lot K (Nobel Hall Lot) as indicated on the map (you may park in employee or visitor areas since parking regulations are not enforced on weekends). You may enter the building in the west door with the stairs.
What to Wear
Students should wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement (leggings, leotards/tights, yoga pants, sweat pants). Students may bring jazz and/or ballet slippers if they have them, otherwise bare feet are appropriate.
Parents
Parents are welcome to explore the campus during the workshop and have lunch with their student. Downtown St. Peter has various shops, an arts center, and coffee shops/restaurants to visit.
Waiver
Attendees will be required to sign a waiver of liability form before attending the workshop. The form will be available at check-in. If students are under age 18, parents will need to sign, as well. You may review the form in advance at this link.
