Weekly Influenza UpdateNovember 13, 2009
To: The Gustavus Community
From: The Gustavus Pandemic Advisory Committee
Greetings,
In the past week Gustavus had two reported case of influenza-like illness (ILI). With continued decline of ILI activity on campus, we expect that this will likely be the last weekly update from the Pandemic Advisory Committee.
Should there be any important influenza developments, including the potential future availability of H1N1 vaccine on campus, we will keep the campus community informed via e-mail communication and the Gustavus H1N1 website.
Thank you to everyone for your cooperation and participation in keeping our campus as healthy as possible. If questions arise in the future, please visit the Gustavus H1N1 website for access to previous weekly updates, online symptom and recovery report forms, online meal requests, and additional links with specific and general information about influenza.
Please do not hesitate to contact your Pandemic Advisory Committee Co-Chairs with any further questions or concerns. Have a safe and healthy remainder of the semester!
Sincerely,
Pandemic Advisory Committee Co-Chairs
Heather Dale, Director of Health Service and
Ray Thrower, Director of Campus Safety
