ABSTRACT:
The Anton Nelson collection contains records of his grades while attending Gustavus Adolphus College and his autobiography.  Additionally, it includes several programs from the commencement ceremonies of Gustavus and Hendricks High School where he served as principal from 1920 to 1921.  He attended Augustana Theological Seminary and was ordained in 1924, later serving in the Canadian and Red River Valley conferences. Nelson received an honorary doctorate from Gustavus in 1950.
