ABSTRACT:
The Helmer L. Quist (18 March 1909-20 December 1981) collection contains reminiscences written by Quist.  One set is typed, the other has been published.  There is also a small booklet written about a road trip his family took to California in the 1920s and a travel guide book that was used during the trip. Quist was a farmer who graduated from Gustavus Adolphus Academy in 1927 and attended Gustavus Adolphus College for one semester in 1929.
