ABSTRACT:
The John Peter Turner collection contains correspondence to parents, brothers, and sisters who were still residing in Sweden, the baptismal certificate for Turner’s son Winfield, Turner’s obituary, and land deeds and certificates.  Correspondence is in Swedish.  Letters contain information about family health, new births, and possible work in America.
