ABSTRACT:
This collection contains a short article, author unknown, describing the life of John O. and Maja Stina Beck, who immigrated to Watonwan County, Minnesota in 1869.  John and Maja’s son, Lars Herman Beck, attended Gustavus from 1878-81.
