ABSTRACT:

The Alfred Nobel collection contains the facsimile of the Will and Testament written by Alfred Nobel in 1895, in Swedish.  Nobel lived from 21 October 1833 to 10 December 1896.  Included in his will, he defines the categories and conditions for the Nobel Prizes: physics, chemistry, biology, literature, and peace.

There are no restrictions on use of this collection for research purposes. The researcher assumes full responsibility for observing all copyright, property, and libel laws as they apply.

Researchers must use collection in accordance with the policies of the College Archives, the Folke Bernadotte Memorial Library, and Gustavus Adolphus College.
