ABSTRACT:

This collection contains the handwritten personal account, in Swedish, of Lars Anderson’s arrival and early days in the United States.  There is, for unknown reasons, a personal history and memorial service program for Eric Norelius.


BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

Lars Anderson was born in Sweden in 1829.  He emigrated to the United States during 1856.  He taught at St. Ansgar’s Academy from 1864-65.  He was Register of Deeds for Nicollet County from 1878-80 and again in 1889.  He died in 1898. (taken from collection)
