Julgran

Wednesday, December 2, 4-6 p.m.

To usher in the winter season and holiday spirit, the Linnaeus Arboretum will be hosting its second annual Julgran celebration in the Melva Lind Interpretive Center. This year's Julgran, which means "Christmas Tree" in Swedish, will once again be highlighted by Julgran 2008a cookie contest with hundreds of cookies to sample! (Interested participants, see below.) The contest results will be announced at 4:30, followed by a program given by Saint Nicholas himself at 5:00. Several local authors will have their books available for sale and signing, and hot cider (as well as the requisite milk) may be enjoyed by the Interpretive Center's log fireplace.

For more information, call 507-933-6181 or send email to arboretum@gustavus.edu.
