Hoffmann Center

On Wednesday evenings a small group of Gustie volunteers spend about an hour visiting with the boys at the Hoffmann Center, a local residential treatment facility for male juvenile offenders.

The Group meets briefly at 6:45 PM for an overview of the plan for the evening, before carpooling for about 5 minute ride to the treatment facility. While at the Hoffmann Center the group leads fun and engaging activities, games, and discussion which facilitates learning social skills, appropriate boundaries, and demonstrates healthy relationships.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Hoffmann Center volunteer program is to build positive relationships with adolescent males who are in treatment for problematic sexual behavior through the use of games, activities, and discussion in a welcoming environment that helps the youth at the center develop and learn the social skills necessary for appropriate social interactions.
