The People Behind the Science Lecture Series" through the Biology Department has invited seven speakers to give seminars about their research specialties and career paths throughout J-term, and we invite you to attend! This series is designed to show the diversity of early- and late-stage STEM careers in biology and highlight the real and relatable people that are behind the science.

Our final speraker will be Emily Bryant Kirschenblatt a Certified Genetic Counselor at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare. Her talk will be given in Nobel Hall 1540 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, January 25 and will focus on her career journey, what it is like to be a genetic counselor, and her area of specialization in pediatric neurology.
