Lecture in Honor of Will FreiertMay 8, 2010 at 5–5:45 p.m.

Professor Daniel Levine (University of Arkansas) will give a lecture entitled "Shaky Hands, Misty Eyes, and Weary Limbs: Greek Poetry of Retirement" to alumni, students, and friends of Will Freiert on the occasion of his retirement. Professor Levine is a prodigious scholar and celebrated teacher who has won numerous teaching awards. He has served on the Managing Committee of the American School of Classical Studies in Athens, where he has also served appointments as the Director of the Summer Session and Gertrude Smith Professor.
