You are invited to join Campus Compact’s Newman Civic Fellows, an extraordinary group of student civic leaders nominated by presidents and chancellors, for an advance screening and discussion of a film called "The Antidote: Stories of Kindness, Decency and the Power of Community in America". This documentary tells a series of stories about people doing the practical work of making empathy and kindness real in the lives of communities across the United States.  Campus Compact's goal is to bring institutional leaders and student leaders together for a conversation about hope and the work of building a shared future.

The screening period is Friday, November 13 (6:00 am CST) - Monday November 16 (5:00 pm CST). The film is feature length (1 hour, 42 minutes) and can be accessed during this window at: https://picturemotion.com/e/the-antidote-10282016 (password: compact) 

There will also be a Post-Screening Discussion with the filmmakers, Kahane Cooperman and John Hoffman, that will take place Monday, November 16, 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Sign up at https://events.compact.org/antidote.
