Homecoming is the week of Oct. 1-8 with Family Weekend activities scheduled Oct. 6-8.
Friday, October 6
All Day Class Visits -- Families are invited to attend classes throughout the day and experience firsthand the academic programs with your student. Students should ask their professors for permission.

7 p.m. & 10 p.m. Weekend Movie ? "Pirates of the Caribbean II, Dead Man's Chest," Wallenberg Auditorium, Nobel Hall. Captain Jack Sparrow is back in this record-breaking smash hit adventure on the high seas. PG-13.

9 a.m. Seminar "Terrorism: ?What We Should Know, What We Should Do," Jackson Campus Center Banquet Rooms.
Magnus Ranstorp '85 is chief scientist at the Centre for Asymmetric Threat Studies at the Swedish National Defense College and Senior Honorary Research Associate for the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. He is internationally recognized as a leading expert on Hezbollah, Hamas, al-Qaeda, and other militant Islamic movements. Ranstorp was a CNN principal consultant on terrorism before and after September 11 and was invited to testify before the 9-11 Commission.

4:30 p.m. Diversity Center Banquet, Jackson Campus Center Banquet Rooms. A program to celebrate and honor students and alumni involved with diversity initiatives and their families and host families for their hard work and love. All are invited. Dinner will be provided.
