Announcement: Faculty Awards – Nominations Due April 15
Each academic year, Gustavus recognizes the contributions faculty make to the life of the institution. Faculty, staff, and students are invited to nominate faculty for the awards listed below. Award nominations are due on April 15; nominate online at: https://gustavus.edu/provost/awards/.
Edgar M. Carlson Award for Distinguished Teaching: This award is the highest honor granted to a member of the Gustavus faculty. It represents a broadly-shared desire to celebrate one teacher in each academic year who has demonstrated truly outstanding effort, accomplishment, and dedicated service to Gustavus students’ best educational interests.
Provost's Award for Teaching Excellence to a Non-Tenure-Track Faculty Member: This award recognizes a Gustavus non-tenure-track faculty member for significant contributions to teaching and learning.
Gustavus Faculty Scholarly Accomplishment Award: This award is intended to be the highest accolade a Gustavus faculty member can receive for distinguished scholarly achievements.
Gustavus Faculty Service Award: This award is intended to be the highest accolade a Gustavus faculty member can receive for distinguished service activities.
Mansergh Faculty Scientific Research Award: This award is intended to recognize outstanding peer-reviewed publications that contribute to the scholarly achievement and reputation of the faculty and the College.
