Description
First of 3 TREE classes led by Cindy Johnson-Groh, Executive Director, Linnaeus Arboretum and Associate Professor, Biology. Can you tell a mountain ash from a green ash or a balsam fir from a white spruce? This class will help you learn to identify the common trees in southern Minnesota. No prior experience with plant identification is necessary. We will learn some of the tricks of identifying trees in all seasons (with or without leaves) and learn how to use identification keys to identify other trees. (Dress to be outside.)
