Announcement: Artists wanted for Stations of the Cross Project

Audience:Campus
Description

Looking for a creative outlet?

The Chaplains Office is looking for individuals to create their own unqiue interpretations of the Stations of the Cross to be displayed in Christ Chapel during the season of Lent. The Stations of the Cross (or way of the Cross) is a series of 14 artistic images that depict the passion of Christ and the crucifixion of Jesus. Many Christians use these images to pray and reflect on the last hours (or passion) of Jesus Christ.

Indiviudals who wish to participate will choose one station to depict. You do not need to be an "artist" to participate-- we believe everyone is an artist! Create what feels right to you, using whatever medium you'd like. We'll even provide all of the materials you need. We have canvas', paints, watercolors, textiles, glitter... lot's of supplies to get you inspired!
