Announcement: Advent Spiritual Practice and Small Group for Students

Audience:Students
Description

Join the Chaplains Office this Advent for an embodied, spiritual practice. COVID-tide has given us a wide variety of buzz words--like, "physcially distant," "Zoom fatigue," and "mask up." This Advent devotional practice will connect these phrases with scripture to speak to our souls. Using artistic reflection, drawing, caligraphy, painting, or journaling, participants will be invited to reflect on the coming of Christ in new ways.

Upon registering, you will receive a kit with all that you need to begin the practice of Bible Journaling, along with our theme materials (produced by theologian Tuhina Rasche and film-maker/story-teller Jason Chesnut).

Once a week, from November 29 through the end of the semester, we will meet as a group to share conversation and practice together.

Register at the link below before November 23. Supplies will be available to pick up in the chaplains office November 23-25. You must be registered to receive supplies.
