The Ben Folds concert, scheduled for Saturday, April 19, is now sold out. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in the Lund Center Arena with acoustic singer and songwriter Ari Herstand as the opening act.

Folds is best known as a solo artist and as the frontman and pianist of Ben Folds Five, which broke up in 2000. Widely known for his prowess as a pianist, Folds began his career in music as a drummer and is also adept at guitar and bass.

His latest release, supersunnyspeedgraphic, the LP, is a compilation of songs that were originally released on the extended play albums Sunny 16, Speed Graphic, and Super D. In 2005, his latest solo work, Songs for Silverman, was released and received critical acclaim.
