Zoe Eth

Graduate Assistant Women's Soccer Coach and Grad Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach in Athletics

Zoe Eth joined Gustavus in 2019 as a women’s soccer assistant coach after spending the previous three years on the coaching staff at William Smith College (N.Y.).

At William Smith, Eth managed the day-to-day operations of the JV soccer team, and cultivated and maintained strong team culture focused on character development of each student-athlete. Eth helped evaluate players to the varsity level. As an assistant with the varsity team she helped support the head coach and helped plan and execute training sessions daily.

After four years on the Heron varsity soccer team, Eth graduated from William Smith with a bachelor's degree in biology in May of 2016. She was a two-time recipient of the Ashley M. Kent '07 Soccer Award. In her junior year, Eth suffered an injury that sidelined her for a large portion of the year. After that, she took on a leadership role, transitioning to more of the coaching side. In her senior year, Eth saw time in 17 matches.
A three-time Liberty League All-Academic pick and a Dean's List student, Eth played in 74 career marches. She logged six goals and two assists for 14 career points. A member of the 2013 national championship team, Eth was selected to the NCAA All-Tournament team. In addition, she was a two-year member of William Smith's Core Leadership Program.
Eth participated in a year-long assistant coach immersion program. The program involved educational training designed to develop assistant coaches at the collegiate level who are interested in pursuing excellence in the coaching profession. She also worked in the Heron athletic department as a student and served as a camp counselor at William Smith soccer's overnight camp.
