Siri Erickson

Rev. Dr. Siri C. Erickson is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has led in both congregational and campus settings over the past fifteen years. In congregational settings, she has developed lifelong learning programs and systems, equipped people in the church to be theologians, and cultivated spiritual leaders. Erickson is a designer and builder of innovative educational programs for youth and adults.
At Gustavus, she is the leader of the Chaplains' Office team and is the first director of the Gustavus Academy for Faith, Science, and Ethics, a summer program that prepares high school students to build creative alliances between religion and science in order to address the world’s most pressing challenges. Erickson currently provides leadership for religious and spiritual life at Gustavus, which supports diverse religious and spiritual practices on campus.
Erickson also serves as Special Assistant to the President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and chairs the President's Council on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In this role, she oversees the College's strategic DEI goals and initiatives.
