Jordan ModjeskiStaff

Assistant Sports Information Director and Graduate Assistant in Marketing and Communication

Jordan Modjeski, a 2022 graduate of Saint Mary's University, is in her second year as the Graduate Assistant Sports Information Director working alongside Sports Information Director CJ Siewert.

Modjeski assists Siewert in all activities of sports information, and serves as the primary contact for several Gustavus athletics teams. In the 2023-24 season, Modjeski is the primary contact for football, men's soccer, men's and women's golf, women's hockey, men's basketball, men's and women's swimming & diving, softball, men's and women's track & field, and women's tennis.

Modjeski serves as the content manager for the Gustie Athletics social media channels, overseeing and executing all graphic design and posts on the primary athletics account, as well as various team accounts. In her first year, she was responsible for increasing social media metrics on all channels, more than tripling interactions on Facebook and Instagram from the year prior. Modjeski's 2022-23 graphic design portfolio was recognized nationally by the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), finishing second in the nation among all NCAA Division II and III schools. Modjeski was also recognized nationally for her broadcasting of the Gustavus women's hockey team, finishing third overall in the nation for best broadcasting profile, as determined by Division III Hockey News. Modjeski has been instrumental in the department's transition from an institutionally operated athletics website to a SIDEARM website, involved in much of the site's information transfer and redesign.

Modjeski arrived at Gustavus having served as an undergraduate intern in the Saint Mary's University sports information office. As an intern, she was responsible for social media content creation and development, game support activities, and assisting the Sports Information Director in any other duties. While at Saint Mary’s, she participated in varsity athletics, competing for the Cardinal women’s hockey team for four years, running the team’s social media accounts for three years, and serving as a team captain in her final season.

A native of South Lyon, Mich., Modjeski currently resides in Saint Peter, Minn. and is in the final year of pursuing her graduate degree in Sport Management at Minnesota State University-Mankato.
