Assistant Men's and Women's Track Coach in Athletics

Becki Staley has been a cross country/track & field assistant since 2017 for the Gusties. Staley brings in an array of different experiences as both a coach and a runner.

In the 90’s Staley was one of the most prominent female distance runners in the United States. She was a 20x state champion in track and cross country at Dickinson High School (N.D.). After high school, Staley went on to run cross country and track and field collegiately at both Alabama and Florida where she was a 13 time All-American and two time National Champion. After college Staley was an Olympic Trials qualifier and she also ran professionally for Nike and Reebok.

Since she finished running competitively, Staley has jumped into the coaching ranks making stops at United Tribes Technical College, Bowling Green State University, as well as training high school athletes at various schools.
