Visiting Assistant Professor in Library

I am a visiting instructor and librarian at Gustavus Adolphus College's Folke Bernadotte Library. If you need research help or help accessing books or articles in English, Communication Studies, Film, Modern Languages, or Latin American, Latino and Caribbean Studies (LALACS), or you would like to collaborate on a lesson involving Special Collections & Rare Books, please contact me at abenemon@gustavus.edu.

I not-long-ago completed an M.A. in English: Composition and Rhetoric at Wright State University and a Master's of Library Science specializing in Rare Books and Manuscripts at Indiana University. A non-exhaustive list of my interests includes rhetoric, print history, the history of prose style, world film and media studies, and anglophone and global literatures from the early modern period to the present day. I enjoy reading out-of-print, forgotten (or otherwise little-known) books of merit and new books in translation, and carry on the early 19th century English tradition of the "review" at my website, The Old Book Appreciator.
