Gustavus Adolphus College invites applications for a part-time, one-semester Visiting Instructor position in the Department of Business and Economics, starting January 1, 2026. Employment Type: Part-Time; Exempt (Salaried); $4,900 per 4-credit course (potential signing bonus for qualified applicants); In-Person Instruction

Position Overview

• Teach one section of Intermediate Accounting II during the spring semester: This course is required for our Accounting Majors and taught to upper-level students committed to an accounting degree. If there is mutual interest, there may be an opportunity for continued employment with flexibility in course assignments.
• Time Commitment: This is a part-time, in-person position for the spring semester, which ends on May 1, 2026. Courses are typically either M-W-F or T-Th.
• Responsibilities: Your role will go beyond the textbook. You'll use your real-world experience to bring accounting concepts to life, helping students understand the importance of financial reporting and analysis. The materials are available if preferred.
