Our featured speaker will be Professor Barbara Boyd from Bowdoin College.
Professor Boyd has written extensively on Ovid and her talk is entitled “Island-Hopping:
Ovid’s Ariadne and Her Texts.”

- 10:00-10:30 arrival/check in/coffee
- 10:30-12:00 CAM business: state of the state, treasurer's report, Teacher of the Year award, elections, etc.
- 12:00-1:00 lunch
- 1:00-2:15 Barbara Boyd lecture, Q & A session
- 2:15-2:30 break (wine & cheese set up)
- 2:30-3:00 St. Olaf undergraduates discuss their participation in the touring production of Plautus' Auluaria
Parking and Directions to the CAM Meeting
The meeting is being held in room 100 of McNeeley Hall, located
on the corner of Summit and Cleveland avenues in Saint Paul, on the
campus of the University of St. Thomas.
From I-94, take the Cretin avenue exit and head south. Pass
through the light at Marshall avenue, and turn left at the light on
Summit. The building will be just before the next light, at Cleveland.
There is a small parking lot adjacent to (behind) the building
(the entrance is from Cleveland).There is also a large parking lot on
the corner of Cretin and Summit, as well as one off of Cleveland near
the O'Shaughnessy education center (the one that looks like a big
fortress). All parking is free on campus over the weekend, so CAM
members may park wherever they find a spot.
