The Writing Center invites faculty, students, and staff to its annual Open House. We are especially eager for new students and new faculty members to meet our tutoring staff. Faculty and students alike can browse our resources, talk about their experiences as writers, and enjoy some snacks.

While "The Rock" has been a landmark at Gustavus for many years, the current one is actually at least the third to occupy the space, replacing the original one that was "stolen" in 1968. "The Rock" is continually being repainted with political slogans, pre-game encouragement, Greek letters, and other colorful propaganda.
