As an Elementary Education major, the state of Minnesota requires that my teacher preparation courses adequately prepare me for the classroom experience. For each of the 10 Minnesota Standards of Effective Practice for Teachers, I have included examples of assignments or artifacts created within academic courses at Gustavus. These artifacts were carefully chosen to illustrate my proficiency for each standard. A description of each artifact, a rationale that explains how the artifact matches the standard, and a reflection statement are included for your review.
