What is NYSP? A 5-week summer day-camp for kids age 10-16 from low income families
Where? Gustavus Adolphus College Campus, St. Peter
When? July 6 – August 7
Positions available: (Paid and Volunteer)
Instructors* (Must have 4-year degree)
(Athletic: aerobics, soccer, softball, tai chi, tennis, track, volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics, yoga, +)
(Academic: math, reading, science, writing)
(Creativity: art, dance, drama, music, storytelling, photography, +)
+ we are open to other possibilities
WSI Swimming Instructors
(certification must be current/submit with application)
Group Leaders (5 week commitment + 2 days of training)
Must love working with kids; enjoy trying lots of new things; be willing to guide a group of kids through a full day of camp activities.
*Length of commitment – from one to five weeks + 2 days of training
Stipend depends on position and length of commitment
