Requirements for professional schools vary from school to school and can change year by year, students must carefully examine the pre-requisite requirements of the schools they are interested in to be current and accurate when registering for courses at Gustavus.

Elective- Humanities or Social Science upper level course, with an intensive writing requirement, WRITD. (U of M requirement- "upper level courses are typically those with a course number of 300 or higher. Writing intensive courses are ones in which writing is an intergral part of the course. Typically, you're required to complete at least one, 10 page paper.") U of M accepts a Gustavus 200 level Humanities or Social Science with the writing componet for this requirement as well as a 300 level course.
